You might be familiar with e-bikes, but now get ready for e-pants! At CES 2025, Dan showcased a prototype of the MO/GO power pants, a groundbreaking collaboration between the outdoor apparel brand Arc'teryx and the Google spinoff, Skip. These innovative hiking pants are equipped with two lightweight motors and a set of electric joints on each leg, all held in place by adjustable loops cleverly concealed beneath the fabric. While there weren't any mountains to conquer in the Nevada desert, Dan opted for a scenic staircase leading to the expo hall's lower level. Though there was a bit of a learning curve, these high-tech, Inspector Gadget-worthy pants proved to be incredibly enjoyable to wear—even for dancing! On top of that, they can help reduce the load of up to 30 pounds, enhance endurance over long distances, and boost mobility, especially when navigating slopes, making them not only fun but also highly functional.
