Commerce

I recently embarked on a journey to Austin, and I must say, the 7-hour drive (I enjoy making plenty of stops) was quite rejuvenating, filled with numerous charming spots and quaint towns to explore. While some of these towns might seem insignificant, I observed that a surprising number had opened brand new smoke shops. It seems that even the tiniest Texas communities are benefiting from these establishments. Many of them thrive by offering vape products, as well as Delta 8 and Delta 9 options.

The Marketplace

The fact is, Texans as a whole want these products, and as a matter of fact, most want full on legalization of marijuana. It just seems the "pro" forces don't donate to the right political campaigns or even organize properly. The "War On Drugs", specifically marijuana and derivative products have taught generations that the best way to take care of their needs is to not ask the government for permission, but to just hit up the black market.

The Prohibition

Now comes the virtue-signaling of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick. He wants to abolish the sale of the Deltas, and it really doesn't matter who is hurt in the process. It looked like he had the agriculture commissioner standing in his way for a hot minute, but now it looks like it might be smooth sailing for a total ban on these products.

Stop Endorsing This Nonsense

Texas has undeniably entered a phase of absurdity. The state desires various advancements that could significantly benefit even the smallest communities, yet we are governed by officials who believe they understand what is best for us. This situation warrants careful observation, as Texas is on the verge of pushing many individuals back into the black market, which can be a perilous environment.

Texas boasts an impressive population of approximately 7.2 million dogs, making it the state with the highest number of canine companions. However, if you're looking to diversify your household, you might consider welcoming a unique and less conventional exotic pet into your family.

Some of these exotic items are subject to regulations and will necessitate obtaining permits.
