Sporting Lisbon are reportedly prepared to let Viktor Gyokeres leave the club next summer, with four Premier League clubs in the race for the Swedish forward.

Gyokeres is currently contracted to the Portuguese giants until 2028, with his release clause set at £85million.

According to the Sky Germany, an agreement has been reached that Gyokeres will be able to leave for between £50-58million.

Gyokeres will reportedly not leave the club during the January transfer window, but a move next summer is considered likely.

The report claims Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City are among those tracking Gyokeres.

The quartet have reportedly been informed of the significant drop in the 26-year-old's price tag.

Manchester United are not considered to be in the race at this stage, but the Red Devils position could change if Gyokeres' current head coach at Sporting Ruben Amorim takes charge of the Premier League side.

Gyokeres has been a stunning success at Sporting since joining from Championship side Coventry in a £20millon move in 2023.

His debut season at the Portuguese club saw the forward score 43 goals and provide 15 assists in 50 matches.

Gyokeres' form in front of goal proved vital in Sporting securing the Portuguese title last season.

Gyokeres' form has continued for Sporting so far this season, with 14 goals and four assists in their 14 matches to date.

Two of his goals have come in victories in the Champions League, which have helped Sporting to eighth place after three matches in the new look competition.

The forward has also scored 10 times for the Swedish national team in 24 appearances.

Gyokeres previously played for Premier League outfit Brighton with the Seagulls signing the forward as a teenager.

He spent time on loan at St Pauli, Swansea and Coventry, before joining the Sky Blues on a permanent basis in 2021.

Sporting moved for the forward after he scored 22 goals in 50 matches for Coventry, after the club were beaten in the play-off final in 2023.

Coventry will reportedly be due 15 per cent of a future fee from Gyokeres' next move.
