Just when you thought it was safe, Forever Entertainment and MegaPixel Studio confirmed that The House of the Dead 2: Remake is out this Spring. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out the first trailer below.

True to its title, this game is a reimagining of the second installment in the light gun rail shooter series, featuring two main characters, James and Gary. As agents of the AMS, they find themselves in a town infested with zombies and must fight their way through to uncover the mystery behind the outbreak. Players can choose to embark on this journey alone or team up with a friend in cooperative mode.

Alongside modernized visuals and a remastered soundtrack (though you can always revert to the original), players can tackle the game’s bosses in Boss Mode or enter Training Mode. The Campaign also features branching paths and multiple endings. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay footage in the coming months. You can also read our review of the first game’s remake.
