Hogwarts Legacy is fast approaching its two-year anniversary but despite the single-player game lacking in terms of post-launch content, it seems as though its players are still discovering hidden features to this day.

First released back in February 2023, Hogwarts Legacy went on to become one of the best selling games of the year, despite the controversy surrounding its links to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

The action RPG was set in and around Hogwarts, giving players the opportunity to immerse themselves in the experience of being a student at the enchanting school. They could roam the expansive grounds and even venture to the nearby village of Hogsmeade to engage with the broader wizarding community.

From taming beasts to mixing potions, and fighting dragons to learning the Unforgivable Curses, Hogwarts Legacy was a true love letter to the Harry Potter saga.

Nearly two years later, players continue to uncover the many secrets of Hogwarts, including several concealed doors scattered throughout the castle.

In a Reddit post over on r/HarryPotterGame, one user shared their discovery of a hidden door found within the Gryffindor common room.

Yet, a remark beneath hints at an even greater mystery.

“Hufflepuff also has a hidden door, disguised as a bookshelf. Slytherin has a hidden room behind the statue. Ravenclaw has no hidden room, that I am aware of, but they have a roof,” MeganlodonBradicus shared.

You can locate the Gryffindor secret room by following the guide provided below.

To find the secret door in the Hufflepuff common room, just turn towards the fireplace and glance to your right. You'll spot a bookshelf that conceals the hidden entrance.

Inside, there isn't much to report aside from a locked chest and an abundance of snacks, but it's still an exhilarating discovery, especially since it's not something players can easily come across.

“I’ve played over 200 hours of this game and didn’t know ANY of this!!,” one comment read.

This proves that venturing into the unknown typically rewards players in our beloved open-world games.
